From the Principal’s Desk

Mary Ward, founder of the Loreto Sisters said, “Women in time to come will do much.” This vision and conviction fills everyone at Loreto Sealdah with gratitude for what has been and urges us to work with passion for what is to come. Our lives are constantly being moulded and formed by our experiences as well as by the events around us. Freedom, justice, sincerity and truth are values we cherish. Every student is encouraged to dream big and never give up on her aspirations. We believe that all children have the potential to achieve their dreams and it is our responsibility to guide/direct their path of discovery and support them on their journey of learning.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” This quote beautifully encapsulates the importance of dreaming and the impact it can have on our lives. Dreams can be the driving force behind our actions and inspire us to achieve greatness.

Our aim at Loreto Sealdah in the overall development of the learner that has its sight focusing on every aspect – physical, mental, emotional, Spiritual - that will enhance the complete growth of the learner. However dreaming itself is not enough. It is equally important to believe in oneself and one’s abilities. We must teach our children to believe in themselves to have faith in their own unique talents and skills and to find their own voice of expression.

Let us work together to create a nurturing environment where our students can thrive and reach their full potential.

I wish all our students a successful term ahead.

May God bless each one of us.
