Corporation School Teaching Programme

Loreto Sealdah has very interesting outreach programme I.e. to share the privilege of Education with the Corporation school students. They come to LDS every Thursday from 12-1 ‘o’ Clock. They have interaction and they learn various activities lessons, poems, story-telling etc from Loreto Teachers. This Programme is on for the last three years.

Rainbow teaching is an activity where each child in the regular school helps a Rainbow child in their studies. This activity involves interaction among regular school children and Rainbows. Once a week students from class V to Classes X are involved in teaching the Rainbows for 2 periods. Every student maintains a file on a Rainbow child which contains what she is currently teaching. After school each House of the school takes turns to help the Rainbows with their studies.
